Qualifications

• Must be current and up to date with emerging fashion trends for women's contemporary occasion dresses
• High taste level with a good eye for color, fabrics and textures
• Must be detail oriented and very organized
• Must have basic knowledge of garment construction and textiles
• Must know how to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for sketching as well as hand sketching
• Computer literacy, proficiency in microsoft Office
• Team player who has a high level of professionalism
• Must be willing to learn and can truly commit to working 2 days (8hrs a week, 4 hr shift) non paid for college credit
• Must be reliable and be able to commute to our offices in DTLA

Responsibilities

• Working with Senior Designer and Vice President providing support to the entire design process, from trend research, sketching, fabric selection, fitting to final garment
